Dear Lord Jesus,

I realized that I have always been of little faith. I tried too hard to depend on myself. That's why I have been working too hard. Looking back, I regret that I spent so much time on work and not enough time on my family. I didn't spend sufficient time in understanding my daughter and in raising her. But it's never too late.

I listened to an episode from the Focus on the Family ministry this morning — "How to Be a Prayer Warrior for Your Children" with Dr. Erwin Lutzer — and was struck by what the pastor said: most parents want their kids to be good, not Godly. That's me. So I always just pray that God will keep her safe, keep her from harm, help her do well in her work, and meet the right guy…

But everything comes from the heart.
